Fourth workshop “Rare benign hematological disorders” HemoThal
The Fourth Workshop on Rare Benign Hematological Disorders “HaemoThal” is organized at the initiative of the Benign Hematology Bulgaria Foundation, with the support of the Bulgarian Pediatric Association, and will be held from March 19 to 21, 2027, at Park Hotel “Kaylaka” in Pleven.
The aim of the workshop is to create a sustainable and effective platform for active interaction between leading specialists in the field of benign hematology, pediatrics, clinical genetics, laboratory medicine, transfusion medicine, and other related specialties.
The event will present modern diagnostic algorithms, innovative therapeutic approaches, and multidisciplinary clinical cases related to rare benign hematological disorders such as hemophilia, thalassemias, congenital and acquired thrombocytopathies, rare anemias, and coagulopathies.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for the exchange of clinical experience, discussion of good practices and challenges related to early diagnosis, individualized treatment, patient follow-up, and approaches to cross-sector cooperation.
Special emphasis will be placed on the role of multidisciplinary teams, national and international networks, patient organizations, as well as on the need for sustainable policies to improve the quality of life and access to innovative therapy for affected patients.
The conference aims to encourage the development of professional and institutional connections, the exchange of good practices, and the formulation of joint guidelines for conduct and treatment, based on the latest scientific data and European standards.
