The Foundation aims to support the professional growth of healthcare specialists, particularly when such development directly benefits patient care.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"575\" data-end=\"883\">While some medical students begin their studies with a clear idea of the specialty they wish to pursue, others are still exploring their options. Research shows that only about a quarter of students who enter medical school with a specific specialty in mind maintain that choice throughout their education.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"1184\">At every stage of a medical career, mentorship and guidance from experienced specialists can inspire motivation, clarify career paths, and reveal new opportunities. This project aims to promote clinical hematology and enhance practical training during the final two years of medical education.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1427\">The initiative is organized by the <em>\u201cBenign Hematology Bulgaria\u201d Foundation<\/em> with the support of the <em>Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Hematological Diseases \u2013 Sofia<\/em> and the <em>Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE<br \/>\n<\/strong>ASSOS. General Requirements\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical students in the 4th, 5th, or 6th year at accredited medical faculties in Bulgaria<\/li>\n<li>Successfully completed preclinical and clinical courses according to the curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Declared interest in hematology and areas related to thrombosis and hemostasis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>II. Academic Criteria\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum overall GPA of &#8220;Very Good&#8221; (5.00)<\/li>\n<li>Recommended completed courses:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle\">\n<li>Pathophysiology<\/li>\n<li>Pharmacology<\/li>\n<li>Internal Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Pediatrics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>III.
